Wedding styles
The Government generally recognizes a legal ceremony in the destination. It requires your documents to be translated from your language to that of the country you choose to get married in.
A symbolic ceremony is not a legal union. Many couples opt for a symbolic ceremony as the most straightforward option, but they must legally marry in Canada before the Destination Wedding. This is usually done with a justice of the peace or at a courthouse.

Many resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico and Costa Rica offer South Asian Weddings. Some resorts have a dedicated, highly trained team. Not all resorts have trained South Asian wedding planners on site. Working with a destination wedding travel specialist like us will give you peace of mind knowing that traditions can and will be honoured by the resort.
