When to get married in Mexico
November to April is generally drier wedding weather in many resort areas, though conditions vary by region and year. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June through November, while the eastern Pacific season runs from mid-May through November. Cancun & Playa Mujeres
Cancun is the easiest place in Mexico to bring a large wedding group: a short airport transfer and resorts built for celebrations. Just north of the Hotel Zone, Playa Mujeres has become one of our most requested areas. It is quieter and more exclusive, with wide beaches, calmer water, and newer adults-only and family-friendly resorts sitting side by side, which makes it ideal for weddings with guests of all ages. Riviera Maya
Stretching south from Cancun past Playa del Carmen to Tulum, the Riviera Maya is the classic Mexico destination wedding. Think jungle backdrops, cenotes, white-sand beaches, and resorts ranging from lively and social to intimate and boutique. Most are 45 to 90 minutes from Cancun airport, depending on the resort and traffic.

Cozumel
A laid-back island with crystal-clear water and world-class snorkelling and diving, Cozumel has a relaxed pace and smaller resorts that can make a wedding feel like a getaway rather than a production. The ferry to the island departs from Playa del Carmen on the mainland. Flights may also be an option depending on availability and your itinerary.

Pacific Coast

Los Cabos
Where the desert meets the sea at the tip of Baja, Los Cabos offers upscale wedding resorts, striking cliffside and beachfront ceremony sites, and famous sunsets. Many Cabo beaches are not safe for swimming because of strong currents. Huatulco

Ixtapa & Zihuatanejo
