Once-in-a-lifetime destinations for honeymoons, anniversaries, proposals and just-because getaways. We'll match the destination and the season to what you love, whether that's overwater luxury, culture and adventure, or a bit of both.
Maldives
Synonymous with luxury and romance, the Maldives is the dream for couples who want privacy and indulgence: overwater villas above turquoise lagoons, private sandbank picnics, sunset dhoni cruises and world-class spa rituals. Best from November to April for sunny skies and calm seas; May and September bring the occasional shower but fewer people and excellent value on luxury resorts.
Best for: Overwater-villa honeymoons, sandbank elopements, couples who want to be completely spoiled.
Bora Bora & French Polynesia
A jewel of the South Pacific, where emerald peaks rise from a lagoon so blue it looks unreal. Overwater bungalows, private motu picnics, snorkelling with rays and reef fish, and 4x4 tours through lush valleys. May to October is the dry season and ideal for honeymoons; November and April are a little more humid but quieter and better value.
Best for: Cinematic honeymoons, bucket-list elopements, couples who want the postcard.
Southeast Asia
For couples who want romance woven with culture and adventure: Thailand's golden temples and islands, Bali's jungle sanctuaries, Vietnam's beaches and cities, luxury spa retreats, private villas and unforgettable food. November to March is cooler and drier; April, May and September mean fewer crowds, lush landscapes and outstanding value. Our own Tina spends much of her year in Southeast Asia, so this is one we know from the inside.
Best for: Culture and adventure honeymoons, couples who want luxury and value together, multi-stop trips.
Africa & Safari
A honeymoon that starts with a sunrise game drive and ends with a Cape Town sunset or a beach in Zanzibar. Luxury lodges, private guides and once-in-a-lifetime wildlife make Africa the ultimate bucket-list escape. Best from June to October for the dry season and prime game viewing.
Best for: Adventurous couples, milestone anniversaries, honeymooners who want a trip they'll talk about forever.
Honeymoon & Bucket-List Cruises
Unpack once and wake up somewhere new every morning. From the Mediterranean and Greek islands to Alaska, the Southern Caribbean and Southeast Asia, a cruise lets you see several countries on one honeymoon without the logistics, with dining, entertainment and often excursions included. We'll match you to the right cruise line, itinerary and cabin for your style and budget.
Best for: Couples who want to see a lot in one trip, first-time cruisers, honeymooners who'd rather relax than plan.
